Pricing and budget approach
Why we don't display fixed prices, how we estimate, what's included, and how we collaborate.
Why we don't display prices
A serious SaaS project varies widely depending on scope, business complexity, technical constraints and existing systems. Displaying a single price would be either wrong or misleading: wrong because it could not cover the real diversity of situations, misleading because it would force either the client to accept a scope that doesn't fit them, or us to accept margins insufficient to deliver the quality we guarantee.
Our choice is different: we provide a detailed, free estimate at the end of an initial discussion with you. This estimate reflects your real project, not a statistical average.
Our estimation methodology
Three successive stages, with no commitment from you before the final stage.
Stage 1: Initial discussion
A 45-minute call to understand your need, context and constraints. We reach a shared understanding of the problem to solve. Free, no commitment.
Stage 2: Framing workshop
If the initial discussion leads to a shared willingness to move forward, we conduct one or more structured workshops to refine the scope, identify users and their journeys, list technical and regulatory constraints. This framing phase is billed. At its conclusion, we can provide a price range estimate for what follows. This range does not have the precision of the detailed estimate, but it is often sufficient to decide whether to commission a firm detailed estimate or not.
Stage 3: Detailed estimate
If you decide to commission a detailed estimate, we deliver a quote breaking down cost per phase, delivery schedule, retained assumptions and identified risks. This estimate is firm: if we commit, it's the price you pay.
What's included in our offerings
A Stackstride engagement systematically includes the following items, without options and without extra cost.
- Complete development per the framed scope
- Automated tests at all levels (unit, integration, user journey)
- Automated production deployment on suitable infrastructure
- Complete technical and functional documentation
- Knowledge transfer to your teams (sessions, demos, access)
- Corrective maintenance over the contractual period
- A single senior contact for the full project duration
Possible collaboration models
We offer three models depending on the nature of your project and your preference.
Fixed price on defined scope
Suited to projects whose scope can be stabilized during framing. You pay a firm price for a precise deliverable at a given milestone. Ideal for MVPs, defined feature pages, scopeable migrations.
Time and materials
Suited to evolutive or exploratory projects whose scope can't be frozen upfront. You pay actual time spent at an agreed daily rate. More flexibility to adjust along the way.
Maintenance and support
Monthly engagement covering monitoring, security updates, incident resolution and a volume of minor evolutions. Or ad hoc interventions on specific topics on demand.
